We believe Christ-centered community happens most effectively in small groups – typically around 10 to 13 people who meet together in a leader's home for fellowship, study, and prayer. The heart of Village Groups is to facilitate the growth of authentic relationships in which members can:

  • Truly know others in the church and be known by them.
  • Share joys, struggles, needs, and resources.
  • Honestly wrestle with this life of faith.
  • Encourage each another in our walk with Christ.

Matt and Melissa Hargrove have three biological children, and they are currently in the process of adopting their current foster care placement, a spunky 4-year-old boy. They believe community is an important part of growing in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Accountability and encouragement through fellowship, Bible study, and quality relationships has been a significant piece in the spiritual growth of their family. They are excited to share that joy and growth with others. Matt and Melissa also lead the Middle School Ministry here at Village Church.

The Hargroves' Village Group meets on Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m.

The couple married in 2015 and is blessed with a blended family, including Zachary and Abby.
